WHO WE ARE

Tesoura Filmes was founded in 2018 in the heart of Salvador, Bahia, with the mission of transforming culture into a force for change. We are a cultural production company that believes in the power of diversity to tell impactful stories. From the beginning, we have embraced artistic and audiovisual projects focused on the Northeast region of Brazil, female empowerment, and LGBTQIA+ and racial issues. We love the challenge of producing independently, always with an inclusive perspective. With a wealth of experience, we offer complete development and production services for those who want to tell stories that make a difference.

We produce family-friendly, everyday, and lighthearted films to reach audiences through relatability and representation on the big screen.
